December 12: Personality

Dear Jesus, First of all, thank You that I actually found a computer that will let me post while we are staying here at Maxwell AFB! Secondly, I want to ask You to be with the children of my heart who are also traveling today, for their trip is of a much more serious nature than ours. Please grant them peace and total trust in You, and give the doctors supernatural guidance.
The reading in My Utmost once again pleads with us to give up all our rights to You. Chambers' definitions of individuality and personality are outside the realms in which we normally think, but if we force ourselves to think along those lines, we can't help but see You in a clearer light. Certainly, some of the children of my heart will struggle to be able to relinquish the control of their own lives, but please give them the strength to at least test Your faithfulness. May the Holy Spirit teach them all they need to know.
