The Frustration

I was so frustrated to be away from a computer during our trip to Vancouver because the lessons covered in "My Utmost for His Highest" were so powerful. Yet, as usual, God works all things according to the good..."

As I prayed for all of you, I realized something that the Lord has probably been trying to teach me for some time. The words leapt of the page as I read the November 4th lesson: "It is essential to give people a chance of acting on the truth of God. The responsibility must be left with the individual, you cannot act for him, it must be his own deliberate act..."

Please forgive me if I have seemed to be cramming ideas down your throats. Again, the words of Chambers in the November 2nd reading convicted me: "Our Lord never insists upon obedience....The Lord does not give me rules...." If the supreme Lord of the Universe doesn't bully you to accept the truth, then it is absurdly ridiculous for me to try to subtly do so.

Therefore, I will from this time forth simply write out my prayers for you. After all, that is all that I was going to do when I gave each of you these books. Also, I am going to attach a link to the "My Utmost" reading in case you have time at a computer without your copy of the book.

Dear Jesus, forgive me for being too overbearing. These people are so incredibly special and I love them so much. Bless them and draw them ever closer to You, so that their lives may be filled with peace and happiness and the wonderful satisfaction of knowing You!!
