October 29: Substitution

Dear Jesus, please help us to always remember that Your substitution for us comes with a two-fold responsibility: we have to accept your gift of salvation, but equally important, we must accept responsibility for allowing ourselves to be made the righteousness of God in You. We mustn't ever think we can accept You as Savior if we won't accept You as Lord!
