September 29: The Consciousness of the Call

"The call of God...comes with the undercurrent of the supernatural, something that cannot be put into words..." Ah-ha! That explains it!!! I have told people for years that when God talks to me, it must not be in English, because I have the most terrible time trying to recount the experience to other people. Yet those experiences have turned my life from slow-motion black-and-white dreariness to vibrant living-color adventures.

I shout an affirming YES that "if you agree with God's purpose He will bring not only your conscious life, but all the deeper regions of your life which you cannot get at, into harmony."

Thank You, Jesus, for choosing me!!! Thank You, Lord, for choosing the children of my heart!!! Thank You for the gift you bestowed as one of Your final acts on this earth: "Peace I leave with you; My peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid." John 14:27. Thank You that with Your call comes a trust so firm that "no matter how untoward circumstances are" we are like Job and boldly proclaim "though He slay me, yet will I hope in Him." Job 13:15.
