May 22: Now This Explains It

Today in My Utmost for His Highest: http://www.myutmost.org/05/0522.html ATTENTION!! This reading has probably THE MOST IMPORTANT lesson we can ever learn for complete fulfillment in our Christian lives: "The purpose of God is not to answer our prayers, but by our prayers we come to discern the mind of God..." Psalms says that He 'gives us the desires of our hearts.' It is imperative that we realize what that means -- as we pray He makes our desires to be like His desires. He is not like Santa Claus, waiting to give us every whim that we place on our wish list!!
