February 20: The Initiative Against Dreaming

Today in My Utmost for His Highest: http://www.myutmost.org/02/0220.html Actually, this has nothing to do with today's reading, but I've just got to share. I'm reading the Bible this year out of Eugune Peterson's paraphrase, The Message. He writes some very interesting introductions to each chapter. In the intro to I and II Samuel, he lists the main characters, Hannah, Samuel, Saul and David, and states, "God is the country in which they live." I just LOVE that!!!
